MIL-STD-130

The MIL-STD-130 is a United States Department of Defense guideline that requires product identification nameplates, product identification labels, and product identification tags be designed in a specific way.

Photosensitive Anodized Aluminum

Identification plate made of photosensitive anodized aluminum (Metalphoto) are clearly differentiated from those produced on other substrates in two important ways - first, Metalphoto plates are defined as the most durable of aluminum identification plates by GPI. Second, they offer the highest graphic resolution capability of any metallic substrate. They also meet MIL-STD-130 for government and military markings as well as many other specifications. See bottom of page for details.

Etched Plates

Our etched nameplates are extremely durable and are ideal for labeling almost any type of equipment or machinery. This product is etched in an acid bath solution causing the image to be burned into the plate enabling it to resist abrasion, fading, weathering, and chemicals.
